” The Pataula Center for Children, a non-profit child advocacy center, debated about becoming a member of the Chamber. We thought (and hoped) that Chamber membership might bring community awareness about who we are, our mission, the population we serve, and ways we help the community in both the short- and long-term. This is exactly what happened! We have gained much support, recognition and awareness in the area through our Chamber membership and we have also learned of other needs we could meet within the community. We have benefited from other Chamber members and community businesses who have donated items, skills, expertise, and services which have helped us work more efficiently and effectively and be able to do more for the community. “
